This doll will make a beautiful addition to your angel collection. This is the 1st one of my designs that I call "Candle Stick Dolls". She is a free standing 17" Victorian Angel Doll. Her porcelain head and hands are mounted on a cloth stuffed torso and arms. The top of her dress is made of black velvet, the extra full, long, gathered skirt is made of a gorgeous deep purple satiny taffeta type fabric. The skirt is textured with narrow strips of the same fabric in diamond shapes with small flowers shaped and sewn at the points of each diamond shape. To make the skirt look so full, underneath is a gathered slip made of purple satiny lining fabric with two rows of gathered black netting. The waist is belted with the same fabric the skirt is made of and ties in the back with a long flowing bow. The neckline is framed with vintage purple and with tatting and pearls, and has a small tiny porcelain rose as a broach. The front of her waist is adorned with a vintage pearl and rhinestone jewelry finding; from this hangs three chains. There is a charm attached to the end of each chain, a cross, a mounted purple jewel and a gold ball. Her halo is made of beaded wire. Her wings are wired netting, adorned with pearls and glitter.
The doll measures 17" tall, and the fullness of her skirt at the bottom stands out 16" across.
