This doll is the original handmade prototype doll made in 2001 in order to create the Fruitfull Hands Dolls pattern FH-100 "Peace on Earth".
This is a wonderful example of primitive folk art and a great collectible. The doll is 24” tall. A custom doll display stand is included or the doll can be displayed hung on a wall.
The body is of painted and stained muslin. Santa’s face is needle sculpted. His beard is made from yarn. His coat and cap are trimmed with shaggy faux fur. He is carrying a Heart of goodwill. All the doll’s clothes are handmade, as well. The doll is signed, dated and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
